The music is good, too – it really invokes the bombast of those serial soundtracks. The game also features an entirely original element, stationary control parts peppered across levels, in increasingly hard to reach places, that must be disabled in order to destroy the doomsday machine. I'm really fond of the theme, because not only does it hit my sweet spot (I love those old serials and the entire art deco look), but it also adds to the overall experience. Atlantis Sky Patrol is a dynamic match-three puzzle game, featuring colored balls rolling down a predetermined path, at an increasingly fast pace. Atlantis Sky Patrol is a pretty flashy little puzzler. Watch out for floating mines, because if you accidentally shoot those, the bonus stage ends. After blasting the smallest spheres, you release coins. There are no snakes in these screens, just a field of colored sphere you must break down with your shots, not unlike Asteroids. Travel to each destination on the map and eliminate chains of marbles by strategically matching colors in sets of three. Every once in a while, you encounter bonus stages where you bank extra coins. Atlantis Sky Patrol 1.0 Alawar Entertainment, Inc - Shareware - It's your job to take flight and knock out more than 100 doomsday devices that have been planted around the world. Catching these coins so you can buy power-ups between each stages, such as an increasingly powerful light beam that aids in shot accuracy or a magnet that draws bonuses closer to your ship. When you nail big chains or clean the screen, coins cascade from the top. The chain often obscures your shot at the static spheres, adding a cool element of strategy. In addition to emptying the chain of spheres, you must also pop stationary spheres littered around the screen. Atlantis Sky Patrol differs from Luxor and Zuma in a couple key areas.
