Back to my original problem of being unable to open the 'Control Panel', though. Edit 2: Fixed the problems in my first edit by installing as a 'Generic USB Device' then running the current driver software. The driver program also does not recognize when the HOTAS is plugged in.

Now, I get a when trying to install the drivers, and the device on device manager. Edit: I tried following the steps on (second to last one), and I think it made my problem worse. I have also tried manually running joy.cpl and navigating to the preferences there, but the options to disable clutch mode and set the time zone are not there. Has anybody been able to fix this issue? I've tried a few different versions of the drivers now, but none seem to work.
But, I have not been able to run the 'Control Panel' option, so I can't change the time on the stick from GMT, and I can't disable clutch mode to use the 'i' button.

I have been able to get the Profiler and Profile Editor programs working, using the 64 bit beta drivers (found ).
